So since I live in Reno and have a major need for some playa time the playa training on the 7th was a sure fire bet for me. Is there anyhting special I need to know before going out there? I'm planning on staying a few days and will be bringing all of the camping gear. From what I've been hearing around, you take the same road(turn off to the playa) as you would if you were going to the man. Is that correct? Are we going to be at the man site or farther accross?

Thu, June 21, 2007 - 5:38 AMthere are directions on line on the ranger web page (follow links from www.rangers.org) - the short answer is not we at a cove near the 12 mile entrance (the one past the usual one) - listen for the sound of gunfire and you'll find us.
